You already know Amazon Prime and PerkStreet are a great combination, and with cooler weather bearing down on us there’s no better time to plan for spending time indoors with a Top Five Amazon Prime Movies list!

I asked a few of my fellow PerkStreet employees for their favorite Amazon Prime movies. Share yours in the comments below and let’s get a list going that will last all winter!

PerkStreet’s Favorite Amazon Prime Movies

1. Mean Girls

Mary, social media, says: Mean Girls reminds me of high school, except now I’m laughing. Amy Poehler is hilarious, even though she’s only on screen for about four minutes. There are definitely some important lessons being taught in this movie about how to treat people, and how to be yourself, and I like a movie that can deliver life lessons with humor.

2. Tucker and Dale vs. Evil

Perla, operations, says: Tucker and Dale are guileless, country-bumpkin best friends who get mistaken for serial killers in this comedy-slasher takeoff on the Deliverance/Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror vein. Hilarious and bloody, the duo’s sweet, bumbling antics in the midst of escaping an actual killer boosts the film from expected B-movie status to a satirical wonder.

3. Waiting for Guffman

This is my pick!  When I was a kid, we lived in a small town in Nebraska for a few years, and my mother and I were in just about every play put on by the community theater there. Waiting for Guffman reminds me of those days, being so caught up in the art and love of theater that every rise and fall feels life-changing.

4. Rango

John, analytics, says: Rango is probably the best kids’ movie of the last 2 years. (John’s got two kids, so he’s seen a LOT of kids’ movies!)

5. 180° South

Trey, customer service, says: It doesn’t seem enough to call this a travel documentary. 180° South is an inspiring film that follows one man’s adventure and makes you really think about your own life. You’ll want to leave it all behind and travel the world when you’re done watching this.

There you have it, a list as diverse as we are! Family, comedy, horror, documentary, satire… what are your favorite Amazon Prime movies?
